How Many People Die from Cancer Each Year

According to the American Cancer Society’s Global Cancer Facts and Figures, there were an estimated 7.5 million people who died from cancer in 2007.  How many people die from cancer each year is a statistic that can give you an idea the impact cancer has on humanity worldwide.  It also allows us to determine if cancer is rising and at what rate it is rising.  The figure below breaks down the numbers across the globe:
