Eating Healthy On The Go: McDonalds Breakfast

There are times when I don’t have time to make my breakfast at home, but for me breakfast is the most important meal of the day,so I have to have other options. My favorite option is to go to McDonalds and get two Egg McMuffins with no cheese. I used to take out the yolks, but that just got messy after a while. This has about 500 calories, 18 grams of fat and 5 grams of saturated fat, 58 grams of carbs and 30 grams of protein.

Now let me just say that this isn’t for anyone counting calories or carbs, but it is a great meal for someone working out. This is especially true for me because I workout in the morning. Let me know if this was helpful or not.

One other thing, there is no way to get around having to go to fast food restaurants if you are on the go like myself, but I prefer to cook when I can. I do not however have time to do all the footwork to ensure that my recipes are healthy and in alignment with my health and fitness goals. I use a gourmet cookbook that is a part of my overall diet and nutrition program. Try this free recipe. I promise you will not be disappointed. I would love to here your comments to know if I am on the right track.
