I am not addicted to sweets, but I do find myself having a sweet tooth every now and then. When I became a diabetic I thought the days of tasting anything sweet were long gone. Over time I developed strategies to overcome the limitations of not being able to ingest a lot of sugar. This usually involved the use of artificial sweeteners, such as, Aspartame or Splenda.
